This project consists of a combination of portraits and candid images created with three trans and gender non-conforming folks in my community, supported by audio interviews with each individual. Through this project, I am cultivating curiosity in exploring gender euphoria with honest and intimate photographs and audio. I will be collaborating with the subjects of the photographs and interviews to embrace the joy of being trans, and to explore what gender euphoria means for a group of trans individuals.
These are photographing of the quarantine from inside my home shortly after the statewide shutdown started in Michigan. This is an ongoing series as I photograph the pandemic as it continues.
